Our collections are available for on-site research by appointment:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Appointments Required: Email aihp@aihp.org to schedule. Walk-in visits cannot be accommodated due to limited staff availability.
Parking
- Limited parking may be available in University Bay Drive Ramp (Lot 76) or in UW Hospital Ramp (Lot 75)
Transportation on UW Campus
- The 80 bus is free and runs on campus stopping outside of AIHP offices
- The Wisconsin Historical Society, UW-Madison University Archives, and UW-Madison Special Collections are also accessible along Route 80
Reading Room Guidelines
- Researchers may bring into the reading room only:
- Silenced cell phones
- Digital cameras
- Pencils and paper
- Laptops or tablets without cases
- Power cords
- Headphones
- Food and Drink are not allowed in the reading room.
- Researchers should only wear gloves when working with photographs and metal objects.
- Reproduction costs are available upon request.
