The 2025 Urdang Lecture responds to the request to examine some of my historical work, especially over the past 30 years. My work was written for pharmacists and focused on the questions of where today’s pharmacy came from, what the experiences were, and who the change agents were. My preference was to look at individual pharmacists and student pharmacists and how they influenced today’s professional practice. Heroes of Pharmacy and Pharmacy in World War II were just two examples.
