Kristen Huset

Operations Manager

Kristen Huset serves as Operations Manager for the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy, where she oversees organizational operations and supports strategic initiatives across fundraising, donor engagement, programming, publications, and collections projects. Working across AIHP’s core areas, she supports staff and interns, coordinates projects, and provides operational support that advances the Institute’s mission and long-term goals. Drawing on experience in administration, research, collections, and nonprofit operations, Kristen brings a broad perspective to her work at AIHP. Her previous roles with the Institute have included administrative support, MLIS practicum student, historical research, collections digitization, where she helped preserve and expand access to historical resources through digital preservation projects and metadata creation, and most recently program manager.

Kristen holds a B.A. in Art History and a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to her work at AIHP, she has professional experience with museums and cultural heritage organizations in Wisconsin and Minnesota, with a focus on collections stewardship, preservation, and public access.
