Kristen Huset assists with fundraising, membership, and collections. She also supports AIHP organizational partnerships by managing digital communications, website content, and navigation. Kristen most recently joined AIHP as a digitization specialist, but her time with the organization started when she joined the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy in 2015. As the digitization specialist, she focused on digital project(s) aimed at the preservation and accessibility of bound volumes and artifacts/objects collection by digitizing material, identifying, creating, and formatting metadata. She prepared digital assets to fulfill internal and public requests, working closely with the larger collections team.
Kristen has a BA in Art History and an MLIS degree from UW-Madison. She worked in the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy for seven years and has worked in cultural heritage for three years, serving at museums in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
